Taiden Tuesday-Coming soon to a blog near you.

From my personal blog-

I’ve stolen borrowed an idea from a fellow blogger… She posts pictures of her two kids on certain days of the week. I think this is a great idea. And I’m stealing it.

Splish-idy splash-idy

Taiden's been kinda sorta splashing during bathtime, but last night he went CRAZY. I didn't capture the really crazy part (where he splashed water all over me), but I got some kicking and talking :)
His eczema flared up pretty bad on his legs a few days ago, it actually cracked up! My poor baby. He doesn't try to rub his leg or seem like he's in any discomfort, but it still makes me sad. I slathered his cream on it, and put Eucerin on top of that, and it's looking alot better.
Nat's asked me for a little help with their blog (it wouldn't let her change the background and a few other things, sucks trust me I know), but we haven't been able to actually talk. (phone tag haha). Hopefully I'll be able to get over there so she can update more than 3 lines!

Baby numero 2-o

This is from my personal blog-

Heck (edited) no I am not pregnant. But many of the mommy bloggers I stalk (on a daily basis) are. Frema is even on baby number 2 with a 5 month old daughter! I couldn't imagine. But she recently posted (On her other blog here) about name choices. She doesn't want to recycle names, which makes since to me with a normal name. But my girl choice for names is unique (to me) and I never actually considered it for Taiden because well, he's a boy. But we did have another boy name (at least Devan did) that I promised him we would use on our next son should we have one. (I was kind of hoping he would forget it, but now I really like it.) Either way our first girl and our next son are already named. Despite their lack of exsitence. Hopefully we won't have to use either name for AT LEAST another 2 years, which is when you will find out the name (when we find out the sex). Go away you name stealers you!

Fourth Month

This is weeks old, but now I'm finally putting it up

Taiden-

You are now four months old! I really can’t believe it. You have grown so much, in size, personality and abilities.

You’re 25.5 inches long, 14 pounds and 4 ounces. Everyone comments on how long you are.

You’re such a happy baby, and I just love your smile. You smile at me and daddy when you see us, and you just love you grandpa. Grandma Great passed away this past month. She loved you so much! You were her “Little Sunshine”, as she called you. I got a great picture of you smiling at each other. She was always so happy to see you, even under the circumstances at the time. You’re very Calm and can entertain yourself for quite a while with out even a toy. You’ve found your tongue and just love sticking it our at everyone. You are very curious and can be serious at times. You love looking at things, sometimes you get this look on you face like ‘what is that and how can I get it.’ You stare at faces very intently like you’re trying to remember every little detail. At times you can be impatient. You cry at stoplights and calm down as soon as we start moving again. I started you on solids (but stopped per Dr. Eyre‘s recommendation), and you would fuss during the time it took me to get the food on the spoon and get it back to your mouth. When you do get angry or frustrated you pull the burp cloth (which you love to chew on and it is one of your favorite “toys”) over your face, or you pull your hair. (You pull your hair when you eat, sleep, get happy and when you get angry.)

This month you found your feet (De. Eyre says typically babies don’t do this until about 6 months, and you’re very advanced, Go Taiden!), and you love to play with them. You’ve been accidentally rolling over from day one (!), but these past 2 months you’ve learned how to do it when you want. You still get stuck sometimes, but you just play with your feet for a little while before trying again. At daycare you pull yourself into a sitting position while in the swing, they’re kind of scared you might tip it over. You can sit up alone for a little while before you reach for something and end up on your belly. One of you favorite things to do is stand up. You have such strong legs! Cousin Dinitri lent us a jumper and you really like it. You smile as soon as I put you in it.

I love you so much Taiden. You are everything I ever could’ve dreamed of.

Rage

Thin Thursday, Schmin Schmursday... I eat like a pig. Went to Diamond Lils with the fam Saturday, Steak.. Chilli's yesterday... Ribs.. ugh...
So I've been weighing in at about 143... last week was 143.1 (so close to 142 haha). But today I was 145 again! Granted I did weigh myself after 2 bowls of fruit loops and stuffing 2 hotdogs down my throat... But still! Come on! I really need to get back in gear and get to the gym. One thing that kind of made me feel good is that at Rage yesterday I realized besides (and sometime despite) my stretchmarks I would look better in a bikini than half the girls there. ;) I still have weight that I want to lose, but my stomach is still pretty much gone.

Speaking of Rage, Taiden had fun. We took him in the lazy river (I sat on a tube, with him in my lap.) He just looked around and liked watching Devan pop up from under water. He ended up falling asleep so we got out. Later I took him in the wave pool. We just went up to about 1 foot, and I let him put his feet on the ground, he just watched the water and grinned. He was stomping (as much as a 4 month old can stomp) his feet and laughing. We just can't wait till more towards the end of the Summer when he'll be about 6-7 months, because he'll have so much more fun!

We didn't take any pictures because I didn't think I had the camera, come to find out it was in the diaper bag all along.
